The songs below are by The Mercy Bell (Rebecca Boucher Burns, Josh Thomson, Butterfly Boucher, two tracks including Dale Rankine.). They are unreleased tracks from an album with Victor van Vught, (PJ. Harvey, Beth Orton) while signed to Polydor, Australia, and from ‘demos’ in Nashville and UK prior to and during a development deal with Interscope, USA.

They played in many pubs with the odd exciting venue : CBGB’s New York, Viper Room Hollywood, Belcourt Theatre Nashville, Metro Sydney, The Borderline and Water Rats in London. Highlights shows with The Cardigans, Something for Kate, Bluebottle Kiss, Augie March, Departure Lounge and Blur were fun too. There have been non Mercy Bell spots for Becca also with Topology, Jimmy Styles, Sonic Animation and Departure Lounge. And music for film with The Mercy Bell’s “Home” and “Hiding Place” top and tailing Bedlam Oz’s first feature film still in the making. With plans for other Indy films too including her own. Soon.
